Ready, Set, Motivate!

In 2016 Carolyn Pearse decided to follow her dreams and set up her own business as a Brand Coach & Stylist. Her business, Carolyn Louise Limited, helps female entrepreneurs create a brand that reflects their values, personality, passion & personal style. Creating a business they love.

As Carolyn was shortlisted for our Start Up of the Year Award (North West, Wales, Ireland & the Isle of Man) we caught up with her and asked about her experiences so far.

Q: What is most important to you and your organisation – mission, vision, or core values? Why?

A: The most important thing to me, and the reason why I set up my own business in the first place was to help people. I want to empower, inspire and motivate women across the world to follow their dreams and create a business and brand that they love. Beautiful and successful brands aren’t just for the big companies that have loads of money to spend; anyone can create a brand that reflects their core values, personality and personal style – that’s what I help people do. When you love your business and are proud of your brand, then your passion shines through in everything that you do! What are the most important traits of successful leaders today?

Q: What are the most important traits of successful leaders today?

A: Successful leaders need to be accepting and adaptable to change and be innovative to keep up with new trends, consumer habits and to keep their brand evolving and their business growing. I also feel it’s important that successful leaders empower, inspire and motivate others, this is why they are part of my own mission.

Q: What are you most proud of?

A: Being shortlisted for the regional finals for the Forward Ladies National Awards! It is an honour and was such a surprise to be shortlisted so early on in my business journey.

Q: What’s the best book you’ve read this year?

A: I love self-development books but the book I always recommend to people is The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks, he talks about smashing through your glass-ceiling and recognising when you are self-sabotaging which is stopping you from going to the next level! What are your current goals?

Q: What are your current goals?

A: My current goals are to continue building my business, gaining new clients and making a difference to people’s lives and businesses. I would love to give inspirational talks and run brand workshops at events. One of my long-term goals is to write a book!
