Suzy Greaves, editor of Psychologies magazine is on a mission to spread a little bit of happiness. She has joined forces with charity Action for Happiness and together they are inviting you to create your own Happiness Clubs up and down the country.
A Happiness Club is a monthly book club-style gatherings at your home where you tune into what lights you up and discuss how you can put happiness – yours and other people’s – at the heart of your life philosophy. It’s about working together and ‘being the change we want to see in the world’.
“I believe you have the power to make yourself and those around you happier,” says Suzy. “We all have the capacity to create more happiness in the world through the way we approach our lives.”
Every month with the help of Action for Happiness, Psychologies provide entertaining ‘happy experiments’ for you to take part in each month, where you’ll try out scientifically proven routes to happiness.
Suzy will be speaking at Crafthouse, Leeds on Wednesday, 1 July 2015 from 12:00 to 14:30 where she will be hosting a live Happiness Club – book your tickets here.
Why wait? Start your own happiness club now:
- Once every month, club founders invite a group of four (minimum) or more friends to discuss the Psychologies monthly happy experiment based on Action for Happiness’ 10 Keys To Happier Living
- In the magazine each month, you’ll be given coaching questions or happiness facts to discuss at each meeting, with actions to commit to before the next one.
- And there’ll also be more expert advice in the form of video blogs and posts on Happiness Club LifeLabs channel, which you can find here.
- Will you pass the happiness baton on? If the answers yes, register your Happiness Club here
