We’re open to part-time or full time and are looking at an annual salary of £25-30k, depending on experience.

A truly unique and exciting opportunity has arisen in a forward-thinking and niche membership organisation forwardladies.com where we work tirelessly to help advance opportunities for women in business. We are a small and close-knit team on the single-handed mission to inspire change and make the world a better place.

The Event and Memberships manager is a key player in the business and needs a comprehensive skillset to organise and deliver unique world-class events in both online and face to face formats and create an incredible experience for our attendees. The ideal candidate will take full responsibility for our events’ calendar including speaker acquisition and event content planning.

In recent years, our events have all been run virtually, and we expect that we will continue to run a combination of virtual and in-person events in the future.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of all our events and have operational responsibility for delivering our inspirational and much-loved Awards programmes, nomination, and judging processes – providing a hybrid format of events. The ideal candidate will manage relationships with speakers, delegates, sponsors, judges, award finalists, and suppliers and coordinate onsite and virtual event activities.

The role will immerse the successful candidate in a diverse and inspirational network of businesswomen across the UK and internationally.

The role is perfect for an energised and entrepreneurial individual who thrives on creating, expanding and maintaining relationships with our members and corporate partners.

We are looking for a candidate with strong relationship and business development skills who is self-motivated, and with a flexible approach to work. They will need to cope with competing demands and prioritise tasks whilst keeping a positive and professional attitude to dealing with people.

The role will be predominantly home-based but with onsite to event locations required.
